Cxmmunity recently unveiled a partnership with Invesco QQQ Legacy Classic, a basketball invitational tournament for historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs). This agreement will see the organizations host an NBA 2K tournament for HBCUs across the country.
Teams from major HBCUs will take part in an online NBA 2K tournament. The winner will be flown to New Jersey to view the Invesco QQQ Legacy Classic in person.
Cxmmunity Co-Founder and Executive Director Ryan Johnson spoke on the partnership in a press release: “As part of our mission, and in every event we take part in producing, it’s of the utmost importance that we prioritize students’ access to education through gaming and STEM, but also in a setting that includes sports, entertainment, culture, and empowerment.”
