Kirklees College recently announced it had agreed to a partnership with Lucent Esports. As a result, the two parties will work together to develop a series of educational esports courses that will cover aspects of the industry like games, teams, tournaments, and so on.
This deal will also see Lucent Esports provide “masterclasses” on topics related to the video game industry and social media. Additionally, students that take part in these masterclasses will help judge gaming competitions held by Kirklees College and Lucent Esports.
“The prospect of working with Kirklees College excites all the staff at Lucent,” said William Gleadall, the Director of Operations at Lucent Esports. “Working with a local college to help pass on our knowledge and expertise within the industry to students studying the Esports BTEC is vital to us.”
Kirklees College is a higher education institution located in England. The school was first founded in 2008.
