Female-Only “CS:GO” Tournament To Be Included At This Year’s Razer Invitational

The second annual Razer Invitational will include an all-woman Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament. The event will feature a total prize pool worth over $15,000 in cash and Razer products. Due to the large scale of the Razer Invitational, the tournament will be divided into three sub-regions: Brazil, North Latin America (Colombia, Mexico, Peru), and South Latin America (Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay).

“As the Razer Invitational Series toured the globe in 2020, it won the hearts of gamers and captivated millions around the world,” said Flo Gutierrez, Global Esports Director at Razer. “What had started out as a grassroots initiative to build up our community has today turned into a highly anticipated and competitive tournament. “This is truly a testimony to the incredible journey of esports, and we’re happy to be bringing Razer Invitational back to LATAM, so we can provide a platform to showcase the spirit and passion of gamers in the region.”

The tournament will be streamed in local languages via Razer’s YouTube, Booyah, TikTok, and Twitch channels. Additionally, the event will see Free Fire streamer Alexandre “Gaules” Borba and Bruno “Nobru” Goes, the founder and CEO of Brazilian esports organization Fluxo, host Twitch watch parties and giveaways.

The qualifying rounds of the competition begin on September 8th, while the finals are scheduled to take place between October 1st and 3rd.
