A series of non-fungible tokens was recently revealed by TSM FTX. According to an official post, the collection was designed by the blockchain-based gaming company and NFT ecosystem, Aurory.
The tokens were each uniquely built. Each one features four originally designed avatars. These “Aurorian” tokens each highlight a specific piece of TSM gear.
Fans can enter contests to win one of these avatars. Only one NFT will be auctioned off for an unannounced charity. The others will temporarily remain in the TSM FTX wallet.
The Profit‘s Take:
Dexerto clearly got paid for this article. I need an explanation as to why anybody would want these. I continue to try to understand NFTs. Other than using them to tokenize one-of-a-kind items in-game, the creation of NFTs doesn’t make sense. I don’t get why this is cool. I can’t believe this has real value. This NFT is particularly lame. The art isn’t even particularly cool or interesting. They recently got over $100 million from FTX. Couldn’t they have used that money to hire great artists or designers to make awesome NFTs? These tokens just seem so basic. This is not the first of its kind NFT, by the way. The Business of Esports really made the first esports NFT. I am continuously underwhelmed by the art, the uniqueness, etc. I don’t see anything worth owning here. I can’t imagine an art critic would say you need to own this. Somebody phoned this in on their way into the TSM office. I’m disappointed.
