On October 14th, Simplicity Esports and Gaming Company announced it had acquired an esports center in California. This facility, which is located in the West Valley Mall in Tracy, had been closed since early 2020 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. However, the venue is expected to reopen this month.
“I am excited to announce another esports gaming center location with a percentage rent lease as part of a new relationship with Namdar Realty Group,” said Roman Franklin, the CEO of Simplicity Esports. “We continue to execute on our strategy of organic growth as well as growth through acquisition, as evidenced by the recording of over $900,000 in revenue for our most recently completed fiscal quarter, which represents over 350% growth when compared to the same quarter last year.”
Simplicity Esports is a well-known brand in the gaming industry. Some of the titles they support include Apex Legends, PUBG Mobile, Overwatch, League of Legends, and several EA Sports games.
