Liliputing‘s Brad Linder recently discovered some leaked files that show the multinational technology company Lenovo has plans to create a handheld gaming device. According to Gizmodo, the gaming console will be called the Lenovo Legion Play.
At this time, the device has not been officially confirmed by Lenovo officials.
The Profit‘s Take:
So, we only have rumors right now. It seems like there is a strong chance this device eventually sees the light of day. Lenovo does make good gaming laptops. It is also, historically, IBM’s PC division, so they make excellent business laptops as well. The company’s ThinkPads are top of the class. In the context of a Steam Deck, this could maybe grow to become a competitor. Maybe there is a very small segment of the hardcore gaming market that wants a dedicated device used only for mobile games like PUBG.
