Community Gaming And Riot Games Team Up “VALORANT” Elite Showdown

On October 28th, Community Gaming unveiled a partnership with Riot Games that will see the two entities launch the VALORANT Elite Showdown. This North American tier two tournament boasts a prize pool of $25,000.

The event’s open qualifiers were held on November 5th. From there, 32 teams advanced to the main event where they will be forced to face off against 32 teams that received invitations to the tournament. After that, squads will compete in the main event, which runs from November 11th to the 14th, for a chance to reach the single-elimination playoff bracket. On the 14th, a champion will be crowned, and the tournament winner will receive a prize of $10,000.

“As we look at VALORANT becoming a multi-generational sport, we have to continue to build a sustainable grassroots ecosystem,” said Matt Archambault, Head of Partnerships and Business Development, Esports, for NAOCE at Riot Games. “We appreciate Community Gaming’s dedication and ability to facilitate VALORANT tournaments at that level, and look forward to them being a valuable ecosystem partner going forward.”

Community Gaming is one of the most famous esports tournament platform providers in North America. The company organizes events for hit titles like League of Legends, Dota 2, VALORANT, and so on.
