Pat Gelsinger is the current CEO of Intel. During a recent interview with CNBC, Gelsinger explained that he believed the global gaming CPU and GPU chip shortages will continue into 2023.
“We’re in the worst of it now; every quarter next year, we’ll get incrementally better, but they’re not going to have supply-demand balance until 2023,” Gelsinger said during the interview.
This is not the first time that the CEO of a major technology company has discussed the timeline for the GPU and CPU chip shortages. In August, Jensen Huang, the CEO of Nvidia, said that he believed the shortage would continue into 2022.
