Freaks 4U Gaming recently announced it had appointed Sebastian Hauser as the new head of its platforms and distribution department. This unit of the business will be responsible for managing media distribution rights and strategic partnerships across numerous channels.
Just a few days later, Freaks 4U revealed that it had joined forces with Diversity in Esports (DivE) to produce Riot Games’ VCT Game Changers Series EMEA. This deal will see both parties work together on broadcasts that promote women in VALORANT esports. Additionally, Freaks 4U Gaming will serve as a contributing partner for the series while overtaking and planning event broadcast production duties.
“We couldn’t be more proud about our first achievements this year. It’s awesome seeing these women competing on such a high level and vocalizing their dedication and positive experience publicly,” said Vera Wienken, a Brand Manager for Riot Games. With DivE as the experienced diversity tournament organizer and Freaks 4U Gaming, our long-term partner for high-quality broadcasts and production, we have set up the perfect team to support women in esports and create safe spaces to shine!”
VCT 2021: Game Changers is an ongoing tournament series centered around the hit game VALORANT. The third season of the VCT Game Changers Series EMEA runs from November 12th to the 21st.
