The Red Bull Mobile Esports Open (MEO) finals are underway with the best PUBG: Mobile players in the world competing for the title of Regional Champion and a wildcard invitation for a top-level esports series by Tencent. Over 900 teams began the tournament, but that number has been whittled down to the top 32 teams, made up of the top four squads from the Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka, as well as the top twelve teams from the international qualifiers.
30 countries have taken part in the competition, which has been running since July and continues into December. Open to all, the Red Bull MEO is a multi-game, free-to-enter tournament that gives competitive mobile gamers across the world a chance to compete in PUBG: Mobile and League of Legends: Wild Rift, with other additions being made on a regular basis, including the World Cricket Championship in India and Sri Lanka.
The teams will start their battle for the win in two groups. The top eight from each group will then go head-to-head for the winning title. The competitors will face each other in a sequence of matches played across four maps with the final map being voted on by the team captains during the tournament.
Catch the exciting action of the Red Bull M.E.O Regional Finals by watching the event live on Red Bull Gaming on Facebook or Red Bull’s official Twitch channel. The European Union qualifiers begin on December 4th.
