On November 3rd, Electronic Arts Inc and Take-Two Interactive Software Inc announced both companies boosted their adjusted sales forecasts for 2021. This came after gamers continued to play flagship titles like FIFA 22 and GTA V even though COVID-19 Pandemic-based lockdowns started to weaken.
Take-Two increased its annual adjusted sales outlook for 2021 to between $3.3 billion and $3.4 billion. The company explained this new forecast came after demands for hit games like GTA V and NBA 2K22 remained strong despite the winding down of COVID-19-related lockdowns.
Meanwhile, EA said it is now projected to hit $7.63 billion in full-year adjusted sales. According to Refinitiv data, analysts previously expected the company to make $7.59 billion in 2021.
