JBL Quantum Cup Returns For Second Edition

The JBL Quantum Cup is returning for its second annual tournament from December 17th to the 19th. JBL has partnered with ESL, the largest esports organization in the world, to host the tournament, which will feature two new titles: Counter Strike: Global Offensive and Apex Legends. Fans can tune in to see some of the biggest names in esports, including the newly signed 100 Thieves Apex Legends team, go head-to-head. They will even have the chance to play in the JBL Quantum Cup’s global Fortnite tournament.

“We are continually looking for ways to bring fans together with the best names in esports,” said Ralph Santana, Executive Vice President at HARMON. “Now in its second year, JBL is taking the JBL Quantum Cup to the next level by giving amateur gamers even more chances to play alongside the pros. Fans wanted larger lobbies in the JBL Fortnite competition, so we delivered.”

The schedule for the three-day event is as follows:

• December 17: Fortnite Asia Pacific, beginning at 6 p.m. AEDT; Fortnite Europe, beginning at 6 p.m. CET; Fortnite North America, beginning at 4 p.m. PST
• December 18: CS:GO Asia Pacific, beginning at 6 p.m. AEDT; Some of the best Apex Legends players will compete in the North America Day 1 competition, beginning at 1 p.m. PST
• December 19: Apex Legends competition continues with the North America Day 2 Finals, beginning at 1 p.m. PST

During the global event, JBL will be at the center of the esports world with the best professional teams, hosts, and entertainers. In addition to the 100 Thieves Apex Legends team, participants will be able to engage with other JBL Ambassadors and pro gamers – like SypherPK, Arkhram, Doigby, Keebabb, and Royalistiq – while enjoying special JBL.com promotions and prize drops. Cash prize pools are also up for grabs in this year’s JBL Quantum Cup, including $35,000 for each regional Fortnite championship, $25,000 for the CS:GO finals, and $50,000 for Apex Legends.
