A leak from Xbox Games Studio has provided us with details on two upcoming exclusive titles. According to Windows Central, two projects, entitled Pentiment and Midnight, have been identified as new games from the Obsidian and Compulsion gaming studios.
Project Pentiment will reportedly be a new Obsidian game that is being led by Josh Sawyer, the lead of Fallout: New Vegas and the director of Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire. This non-combat-oriented RPG that tasks players with investigating a 16th century murder is set to come out sometime next year.
Meanwhile, Project Midnight has been identified as Compulsion’s first game as an Xbox studio. The game will reportedly be a third-person action game set in a dark fantasy world that is based on American southern gothic literature. According to reports, this game may be revealed or launched “in the next couple of years.”
