On November 16th, French gaming company Million Victories announced it had raised $3 million in a Series A funding round. This money will be utilized to increase the studio’s headcount while building out the organization’s mobile gaming portfolio. This investment round was led by Griffin Gaming Partners
“We appreciate Griffin Gaming Partners’ approach and their support during this round,” said Million Victories CEO Benoît Ducrest. “It’s uncommon for an American venture capital fund to support a French company in our sector. It’s with great ambition that we start the next phase of our development, in France as well as in the United States.”
Million Victories is best known for developing the multiplayer online strategy war game Million Lords. To date, the mobile title has been downloaded over 500,000 times.
