For years, the Chinese mobile gaming market has dominated the video game industry. October was no different. According to a recent industry report by CNG, the Chinese mobile gaming market recorded growth last month.
Sales revenues in the market reached about $2.9 billion in October. According to the report, this signified a growth of 0.48% year-on-year. Additionally, revenues have increased by 3.37% since September.
International markets were not as friendly to China. In fact, overseas sales revenues of Chinese mobile games were down by 1.79% from September to October, hitting a mark of $1.6 billion.
