Finnish esports company, Elisa Esports, has partnered with cryptocurrency firm, Coinmotion, in an effort to “spread crypto and financial education opportunities.” Additionally, the partnership will include “unique perks” for esports fans looking to invest in cryptocurrencies throughout Europe.
“Coinmotion wants people to make educated choices in investing, something our critical audience appreciates,” said Jan Pakarinen, Global Partnership Manager at Elisa Esports. “It is awesome to work together with another company that is based in Finland but has a global audience.”
This is not Coinmotion’s first foray into esports. Earlier in the year, they signed partnerships with Finnish esports organizations ENCE and KOVA for similar purposes. The deal with ENCE marked the first time a Finnish esports team had ever partnered with a cryptocurrency company.
Elisa Esports, one of the leading esports operators in the Nordic countries, is most known for its existing partnerships with Relog Media, Funspark, and GRID, which saw the launch of a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament series, the Champion of Champions.
