A partnership was recently unveiled between FaZe Clan and Draftkings. As a result, DraftKings will serve as the “official sports betting, igaming, daily fantasy, and free-to-play partner” of FaZe Clan.
These two entities will work together on a series of activations featuring FaZe Clan content creators. Moreover, a new podcast about esports and an original video series with FaZe and Draftkings’ branding is expected to be launched as a joint effort from both parties at some point in the near future.
“FaZe Clan is a juggernaut of internet engagement and culture, built from the ground up into one of the most influential esports and content organizations in the world,” said Matt Kalish, the co-founder of DraftKings – North America. The strong crossover between DraftKings customers and FaZe’s tens of millions of viewers and followers made this a natural alliance, and we hope to create excitement, competition, and a community around sports and video games for adult audiences everywhere we operate.”
This deal will also see DraftKings expand its presence in video games and esports. They will do this by becoming the official sponsor of FaZe Clan’s CS:GO team, which means that DraftKings’ logo will appear on the squad’s jerseys.
