Hepmil Media Group Closes $10M Series A Round

On November 25th, Hepmil Media Group announced the company closed a $10 million Series A funding round. This money will be used to strengthen the organization’s leadership role in the digital media space. The company also plans on growing out its revenue streams and expanding into the Thai and Vietnamese markets in 2022.

This is the first time since 2015 that the group’s fundraising efforts featured institutional investors. This round of funding was led by Quest Ventures. Additional support came from Pavilion Capital and Bent Pixels.

“The digital media space in Singapore and Southeast Asia has transformed rapidly over the last decade, and more people are spending their time online for entertainment, as well as to fulfill their everyday needs,” said Karl Mak, the Co-Founder of Hepmil Media Group. “We are also seeing more brands looking for an integrated digital media solution capable of reaching and engaging an exponentially growing audience in a compelling manner to drive conversion. Through expansion and investing in capabilities building to push new, innovative solutions for brands, we hope to be able to redefine Southeast Asia’s digital media and entertainment sector, and to remain the preferred platform for brands to work with.”

Hepmil Media Group is a regional, technology-driven media company that was founded in 2015. To date, the organization’s content creation arm has recorded over 30 million weekly users. The business’ content creators generate over 3 billion views each month.
