LEO International Payment System recently announced it launched its own LEOGAMING esports team. This unit of the business will reportedly compete in CS:GO.
“Brands have different approaches to integration with the esports industry. Some of them prefer to collaborate with teams, some of them became sponsors of tournaments, while others invest in the infrastructure of tournaments, both online and offline. We decided to create our own team as the most appropriate way to achieve the company’s brand awareness goals,” said a representative of the LEO International Payment System.
The decision to create the LEOGAMING team was made in September of 2021. According to Droid Journal, the team chose to go with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive rather than Dota 2.
