SEC Filing Shows Sisu Game Ventures Raised $50M Fund For Esports

According to a recently filed form with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Sisu Game Ventures has launched a $50 million fund for gaming companies. The organization did not respond to a request for comment from TechCrunch.

The fund has invested in 14 entities so far. Half of the investments were made into existing portfolios like Resolution Games and Lightheart Entertainment. The rest of the investments were made into newly added organizations like Theorycraft Games, Playco, and Core Loop.

“A number of founders from the Sisu family have gone on to start multiple successful ventures and these are the kind of founders we love to support. Our goal is that if we invest in a founder once, we hope to back all future companies they start,” Sisu Game’s Paul Bragiel said.

Sisu Game Ventures is an early-stage venture capital fund that is dedicated to backing gaming and esports organizations. The Finnish venture capital fund was originally founded in 2014.
