Hendrick’s Gin is the most recent, and arguably, most unlikely, company to enter the race to build the world’s best gaming chair. This comes just days after the company unveiled the first-ever Hendrick’s Gin Gaming Chaise.
The seven-foot-tall accessory has been upholstered with green velvet that features copper accents. The chair comes with an amplified horn that allows users to call for additional drinks, retractable arms, and secret compartments for holding games as well as cocktail-making supplies.
“Although we enjoy video games as much as any iconoclastic gin distilled in a tiny seaside village in rural Scotland, it seems to us that current trends in gaming furniture have resulted in chairs lacking in worldly sophistication,” reads a product description on the company website. “We’ve chosen to remedy the situation with our very own gaming chaise, designed to accentuate the pleasures of a range of leisurely diversions, from card playing to chess, backgammon, and other board games — not to mention the pursuit of human conversation (over cocktails of course) with all its feints and complexities.”
The Hendrick’s Gin Gaming Chaise can be purchased now on the organization’s website. The product will cost you about $3,988.08.
The Profit‘s Take:
Yet another great debate in the race to create the perfect gaming chair. They should just call this The Jeff Cohen Gaming Chair. We have expanded from gaming chairs to gaming chaises. Maybe The Business of Esports Weekly News Show will become the official place for gaming chair reviews. This product looks too heavy and too hot. I feel like I would be hot in this chair. This gets a thumbs down from me, no question.
