A multi-company partnership was recently announced between CSL Esports, the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE), Nerd Street Gamers, and Mainline. As a result of this deal, the four organizations will work together to establish the largest college esports league in North America: the NACE Starleague.
“This partnership marks a truly historic milestone for collegiate esports,” said Rob Johnson, the CEO of CSL Esports. “Combining the efforts of four major players in collegiate esports is a transformative moment to create more access and opportunities for student-athletes and further elevate the sport in ways that were previously not possible.”
The NACE Starleague is set to begin operations this fall. According to a press release, the league will be made up of over 14,500 students from 600 different colleges and universities.
