It was recently revealed that Göran Syberg Falguera would be joining GOALS as the game’s co-founder and Chief Technical Officer. This career update was later confirmed by Falguera via LinkedIn on October 11th.
“As I think you will be, I have been convinced there is something big brewing here and I am thrilled to announce that as of November I am joining GOALS as a Co-founder and the CTO,” he said in a LinkedIn post. “A few years from now, I see kids in the Favela being able to play a football game they can afford on a machine they can scramble together from spare parts, and earn money while doing it. This, the technical challenges and the amazing community already supporting this game is the reason I’m going to do this.”
GOALS is an “esports-ready” free-to-play soccer game that will reward players with NFTs. The title was first announced by SK Gaming’s co-founder Andreas Thorstensson. At this time, GOALS does not have an exact release date.
