The SVG Esports Production Summit was recently held on November 16th. The event, which took place in Los Angeles, California, featured Nick Troop, the Executive Producer of League of Legends & Wild Rift Global Esports Events for Riot Games, as the keynote speaker. During this event, Troop gave an inside look at the staggering viewership numbers that came from the League of Legends World Championship series.
“As the most-watched esports event on the planet, Riot Games’ League of Legends World Championship Final always offers up a host of exciting new production technologies and elements to blow fans away. Whether it’s a virtual dragon flying through the air, an AR-powered K-pop group, or a holographic hip hop group, LoL Worlds are a must-see for esports and non-esports fans alike – and the 2021 edition in Reykjavik was no different,” writes Sports Video Group.
This will mark the fourth annual SVG Esports Production Sumit. The day-long event ran from 9:55 AM EST to 5:00 PM EST.
