Wildworks LaunchesCrypto Gaming Division

On November 29th, Wildworks announced it was forming a new internal division of the company that is focused on innovation within the crypto-gaming space. It all comes ahead of the organization’s launch of its new blockchain-native metaverse Cinder.

Cinder has been described as a social hub and free-roaming online festival where virtual citizens can connect with one another through the cinder.io web portal. Cinder expects to evolve into a “create to earn” economy that will allow gamers to turn their digital game content designs into NFTs. These non-fungible tokens can be sold or traded to other players once the Cinder marketplace is launched in 2022.

Cinder also plans on releasing 11,111 NFT avatars called Cinder Fae. These characters will reportedly be minted sometime next month. Only holders of these NFTs will be given early access to the Cinder metaverse.

“Owners of the Cinder Fae avatars will be the OGs of this world, and owners will have a prominent voice in shaping its evolution,” said company CEO Clark Stacey. “Eventually Cinder users will be able to customize and mint avatars themselves, but this first release will always be exclusive and unique. Online communities spring up around concepts for future NFT utility that are months or years away from being realized. We think everyone who’s interested in the future of the metaverse will be excited to see how far we’ve already come with Cinder, and how much is already there to experience on day one.”
