KRAFTON, the company behind PUBG, recently named ONE Esports as the official media partner of the 2021 PUBG Global Championship (PGC) in Southeast Asia. This announcement means that ONE Esports will work with KRAFTON to provide coverage of the tournament series as well as a range of bespoke content.
“We are truly excited to partner with ONE Esports in showcasing the best of PGC 2021,” said Minho Yi, Head of PUBG Esports at KRAFTON. “KRAFTON has been seeking various means to connect and communicate with our fans in the Southeast Asian regions. And we believe, through this partnership, we will be able to cater to the needs and interests of the vast and growing esports community in Southeast Asia.”
The PGC is the last major PUBG tournament of the 2021 season. 32 teams will be competing for a lion’s share of the event’s $2 million prize pool. The tournament is expected to conclude on December 19th, 2021.
