$100M Blockchain Gaming Fund Created By Gala Games And C² Ventures

On December 13th, Gala Games announced it had partnered with C² Ventures to form a $100 million blockchain gaming fund. This joint initiative will fund investments in video game developers as well as other emerging projects based on blockchain technologies.

“As an industry, blockchain gaming needs a clear and concise way as a whole to be accessible to a massive audience,” said James Olden, Chief Strategy Officer at Gala Games. “Through our new fund with C² Ventures, we aim to support a new class of developers who can build genuinely entertaining games powered by blockchain technology to millions.”

Gala Games was launched by Eric Schiermeyer, the co-founder of Zynga, in 2019. The organization specializes in developing blockchain, play-to-earn, crypto, and NFT games.
