BAYZ Closes $4M Funding Round

The esports and blockchain gaming organization BAYZ recently announced it had closed a $4 million round of financing. These funds will be used to secure more investments and partnerships within the NFT gaming industry.

This round of funding was led by Yield Guild Games. Additional contributions came from BITKRAFT and Delphi Digital. Angel investors that participated in this round included Sebastien Borget, Aleksander “Psycheout” Larsen, Jeff “Jiho” Zirlin, and Nickev.

“With the growth of NFT and blockchain-based gaming, we knew that we had an incredible opportunity to bring the play-to-earn platform to those who need it most,” said BAYZ co-founder Matt Rutledge. “By building out our content pipeline and infrastructure, we’re committed to creating the resources needed to help gamers learn about the power of play-to-earn and help onboard them into the metaverse.”

BAYZ is a self-described “gaming guild” that looks to use blockchain technology in content creation and esports competitions. The organization was founded earlier this year in October.
