New Meta Entertainment Inc, which is the parent company of Dignitas, recently launched Raidiant.gg for women’s gaming and esports. According to a press release, this platform will provide a range of resources while making an effort to “celebrate and champion opportunities for women gamers.”
To coincide with the platform’s launch, Raidiant unveiled its Galaxy Partners Program. This project aims to increase the presence of women in esports communities as part of partnerships with NYX Professional Makeup, Nerd Street Gamers, Twitter, and VIRUS International.
“Raidiant comes from the combination of ‘radiant’ and ‘raid. Radiants bring light which is what the site is doing for women gamers who are not regularly covered by the media,” said Heather Garrozo, Vice President of Community and Events at New Meta Entertainment. “We were also inspired by live stream raids where raids are meant to champion others by raising their profiles and expanding reach. Our goal is that Raidiant melds these meanings together and ultimately, we build a stronger community, together.”
Dignitas is the esports organization within New Meta Entertainment Inc. New Meta Entertainment Inc is a digital sports and entertainment company that was formed to serve as Dignitas’ parent organization in 2019.
