Esports is now officially recognized as a professional sport in Thailand. This means that players and teams can now receive support from the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT).
The Thai Government has reportedly been working with the Thailand E-Sports Federation (TESF) on numerous projects. This includes employee training and assisting professional gaming organizations.
The SAT and the Thailand Ministry of Tourism and Sports have already begun making waves in the world of gaming. Both organizations have sponsored ESL One and ESL National Tournament events.
