The First Esports Coaching Program Was Launched At The University Of Portsmouth

The world’s first esports coaching degree program was officially launched at the University of Portsmouth. The degree being offered is a BSc (Honors) in Esports Coaching and Performance.

“The introduction of this course reflects the huge global interest in esports and puts the University of Portsmouth firmly at the forefront of a fast-developing field,” said David Price, course leader. “We look forward to welcoming our first cohort of students in September 2022, to help them become the next generation of coaches and performance experts in this exciting industry.”

Several subjects will be covered in the course. This includes working with gamers, working with teams, running your own esports coaching organization, and so much more.

The University of Portsmouth is a British school. The institution, which is located in Hampshire, England, was founded in 1870 and has over 20,000 students.
