ESFI Partners With MPL Sports Foundation And Power As Sponsors For The Indian Team Competing In Esports World Championship

The Esports Federation of India (ESFI) has partnered with Power and MPL Sports Foundation to support the Indian Team which is currently competing in the finals of the 13th Esports World Championship in Israel. The multi-game event featured players competing in Dota 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Tekken 7, and eFootball 2022, as well as one promoted title: Audition. The regionals ran from November 16th to the 20th, and the tournament boasts a prize pool of $50,000.

While welcoming MPL Sports Foundation and Power, Esports Federation of India president Vinod Kumar Tiwari, said, “We are pleased to have MPL Sports Foundation and Power as title sponsor and sneaker partner respectively for our gamers who are participating in a prestigious tournament like the World Championship,” said Vinod Kumar Tiwari, President of ESFI. “It is very heartening and encouraging to see these gamers with diverse backgrounds representing India at the biggest stage in the world and I hope we will be able to win medals and bring glory for the country.”

Being one of the first non-virtual esports events since the pandemic, the Israeli city of Eilat got to play host to 500 esports athletes from 85 nations traveling for the illustrious fixture.

The broadcast schedule for the finals can be found on the IESF World Championship official website and social media channels. The broadcast will be streamed live on IESF’s Twitch channel, as well as on its official website.
