Galaxy Interactive Launches $325M Fund Focused On Digital Entertainment

An investment arm of Galaxy Digital, Galaxy Interactive, recently launched a $325 million venture fund focused on digital entertainment. This fund will be used to scout gaming and art start-up companies for the crypto conglomerate.

“We’re investing in a lot of technologies and businesses that we think are going to be instrumental to evolving us from this weaker concept of the metaverse to the much, much deeper, more philosophically interesting idea,” said General Partner Sam Englebardt.

During an interview with Coindesk, Englebert revealed the organization had invested $150 million in projects since the fund was launched. This money was used to support start-up gaming companies like 1047 Studios and Elodie Games.

Galaxy Digital is a capital market company based in New York City. The organization was first founded in 2006 by Mike Novogratz.
