Sega Introduces World’s Fastest Gaming PC To Celebrate Steam Winter Sale

To celebrate the ongoing Steam Winter Sale, Sega collaborated with Intel, ASRock, G-Force, and Masami Hirosaka to build the world’s “fastest” gaming PC. And by fastest, we mean fastest! This remote-controlled PC on wheels can move over 60 miles per hour on an open track, which has to be a record of some sort.

The PC/RC car was built to be gifted to a user who follows Sega’s Japanese Twitter account and retweets Sega’s post unveiling the speedy device which aptly features a picture of Sonic the Hedgehog. Unfortunately, for the rest of the world, only those in Japan are eligible to win. The prize also includes 23 codes for Sega games on Steam.

Here are the specs for the PC:

  • Maximum speed: 100km/h (62.13 mph)
  • CPU: 12th Generation Intel Core i9-12900K Processor
  • Motherboard: ASRock Z690M-ITX / ax
  • Graphics: ASRock Radeon RX 6900 XT OC Formula 16GB
  • Memory: 32GB KIT (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3200
  • SSD: 2000GB
