Ferrari’s Partnership With Velas Hints At Entrance Into NFT Space

On December 27th, Ferrari announced it had agreed to a partnership with the blockchain company Velas. This multi-year deal will see the two entities “jointly issue ‘exclusive digital content.'” Additionally, Velas will serve as the main sponsor of the Ferrari Esports Series.

“We are pleased to start this collaboration with Velas Network AG, a company that makes innovation and performance the hallmark of technologically advanced products and services: these are all values that unite us and that led us to choose Velas as one of our Premium Partner,” said Mattia Binotto, the General Manager and Team Principal of Scuderia Ferrari.

Velas is an open-source blockchain network that provides users with decentralized and centralized tools. Since it was founded, the company has invested $100 million into businesses built on the Velas blockchain.

Velas (VLX) is the native token of the Velas blockchain. As of 2:50 PM EST on January 4th, 2022, one VLX token is worth $0.509.
