Smartphone maker ZTE recently announced a collaboration with the Esports City League, one of the world’s first amateur city-to-city esports leagues. As a result of this deal, ZTE will now serve as the main mobile sponsor of Esports City League. This will include ZTE providing Esports City League members with new, high-performance mobile devices.
Esports City League hopes that this partnership deal will reinforce the organization’s commitment to mobile gaming while offering added value to the global gaming community. Additionally, the league said it plans on incorporating new mobile games into its competitive ecosystem in the near future.
“Our community is increasingly consuming and playing mobile esports, that is why we want to help them to enjoy their passions and offer them competitive options that allow them to play in the mobile division of the league with the quality that an esports competition requires. ZTE is the perfect ally for us to achieve this goal,” said Arturo Castelló, the founder of Esports City League.
This collaboration will also see the two entities raffle off ZTE devices through Esports City League influencers. Winners of the raffle will receive ZTE Blade V30 Vita products which feature a 6.82-inch screen, 4GB of RAM, and 128 GB of ROM.
