EXCEL Esports recently announced it had agreed to a partnership with the sports fashion retail company JD Sports. This deal will see JD Sports’ branding featured on EXCEL Esports team jerseys.
JD Sports has also secured the exclusive naming rights to EXCEL’s academy roster that competes in the Northern League of Legends Championship. That team has now been renamed JDXL.
“We are excited to announce our partnership with EXCEL ESPORTS,” said the Executive Chairman of JD Sports, Peter Cowgill. “Through this partnership, JD SPORTS will embrace casual and competitive e-gaming audiences across some of the biggest global gaming titles, whilst also delivering world-first digital and virtual experiences.”
EXCEL Esports is a world-famous gaming organization with a specialization in League of Legends. The company has been supporting competitive LoL rosters since 2015.
