Valve Says The Steam Deck Will Still Be Released This February

According to a recent blog post, Valve has confirmed that the Steam Deck is still scheduled to be released worldwide next month. This comes after the company announced the product was going to be delayed to February 2022 back in November.

“First and foremost, we’re on track to ship Steam Deck on time. Global pandemic, supply issues, and shipping issues notwithstanding, it looks like we’ll be able to start getting these out the door by the end of February,” reads the blog post. “You can view your estimated reservation availability window here, in case you’ve forgotten.”

On July 15th, Valve announced plans to launch the new handheld video game console. The Steam Deck will reportedly have a starting price of $399.
