Metaverse ecosystem and development platform, MetaGoons, has announced the completion of a $2 million seeding round, as well as a partnership with Team Pacquiao GG, legendary boxer Manny Pacquiao’s esports team, as its exclusive metaverse gaming partner. The MetaGoons mission is to become the first holistic, vertically integrated metaverse gaming, entertainment, investment, and development guild.

Beyond extending the MetaGoons brand into the esports scene and providing its community with access to Team Pacquiao GG, the two companies will collaborate on content and charity initiatives alongside the development and launch of a Team Pacquiao GG x MetaGoons non-profit Axie Infinity scholarship program.
