An anonymous content creator who attended the not-so-secret Blizzard meeting back in December recently leaked news that Overwatch 2 information, or even the game itself, could come this month. The meeting in December was attended by many in the company, all of whom were forced to sign non-disclosure agreements, as Activision-Blizzard wished to prevent as many leaks as possible. But the anonymous leaker didn’t honor his, granting an interview to content creator WorstSombra, who used a voice changer to protect our anonymous friends’ identity.
“More information should be coming around the third week of February,” he said.
In addition, the anonymous leaker also mentioned how a February 3rd meeting focused on Overwatch 2 itself and its content rather than esports. In retrospect, this head start could explain why some creators decided to hop on to the game all of a sudden. Considering Overwatch’s lack of content and update, this could finally be something the community could look forward to.
