A huge TV and movie star from the world of gaming is making waves after taking a recent trip. Henry Cavill, who is the face of The Witcher TV series, paid a visit to Warhammer World, a division of Games Workshop Group, in late February.
Cavill later confirmed his visit in an Instagram post. He explained that he had “finally made the pilgrimage to Warhammer World,” and that his visit “was a dream come true.”
“Some of you may not know what Warhammer is, and I urge you to take a look,” reads a part of Cavill’s social media post. “If you live in the UK definitely go to Warhammer World. The artistry involved and the synergy between miniature designs that are so enormously diverse is extraordinary. The brilliance of the artistry is rather wonderfully matched, by the sense of community and also the passion that is shown by both the people who work there and the people who visit. I don’t often feel at home, but I did that day.”
The former Superman actor has been very open about his desire to work with Warhammer World on any project. Back in December of 2021, during an interview with Empire, Cavill said that he “would absolutely leap” at the opportunity to work on any potential Warhammer 40K projects.
The Profit‘s Take:
I don’t think we can love Henry Cavill any more than this. The Justice League and Superman failures were not his fault (if you ask me). It’s sad but true that Henry Cavill is the gamer we all wish we could be but aren’t cool enough to be. Also, you never hear anything bad about Henry Cavill, which actually makes this even more annoying. He’s nice, good looking, and a gamer? Sounds like The Profit.
