Red Bull Racing Esports And Oracle Join Forces

Red Bull Racing Esports has teamed up with the cloud technology organization Oracle in a deal that will see the company act as Red Bull Racing Esports’ title sponsor and technical partner. As a result, the team has been rebranded as Oracle Red Bull Racing Esports. Moreover, Oracle will create and supply Red Bull with an advanced database of management tools and software products.

This all comes as part of a massive naming rights agreement between F1’s Red Bull Racing Team and Oracle. According to Front Office Sports, this five-year deal will reportedly be worth $500 million.

“We’re all about speed and the speed of response,” said Red Bull’s team principal, Christian Horner, in an interview with The Associated Press. “We’re pushing the Oracle technical guys. But they’re responding in the best possible way. And that’s what makes this partnership very exciting.”

Last year was incredibly successful for Red Bull Racing Esports with the team placing second in the F1 Esports Series Pro Championship. On top of that, the organization’s lead driver, Frederik Rasmussen, was named the Autosport Esports Driver of the Year.
