Enthusiast Gaming Partners With Fractal

On March 15th, Enthusiast Gaming Holdings Inc announced it had agreed to a partnership with the NFT marketplace Fractal. This agreement will see Fractal assist Enthusiast in the launch of EV.IO NFTs, offering cosmetics and customized social areas for players and fans. Moreover, gamers that already own cosmetics will receive whitelist tokens so that they can mint NFTs.

This is a huge step for Enthusiast Gaming since this partnership marks the company’s first deal with an NFT marketplace. This agreement also represents the first time NFTs will be integrated into one of Enthusiast’s HTML5 games.

“Fractal’s marketplace allows us to launch NFTs that will improve the gameplay experience within EV.IO, building on the content integration with Hut 8,” said Adrian Montgomery, CEO of Enthusiast Gaming. “We are excited to build a better gameplay experience for our community, and to be taking this important step into Web 3.0 with industry pioneers like Justin Kan and the team at Fractal.”

Fractal has been keeping itself busy since the company also recently announced that Hut 8 would become the lead NFT minting sponsor of EV.IO. These minting capabilities will be made available on EV.IO sometime next month.

EV.IO is a free, web browser-based first-person shooter game. The title is available to play online now.
