The Poland-based esports agency Fantasyexpo recently launched its own separate brand that will join the Fantasyexpo group called GAM3RS_X. The new entity was formed following a restructuring effort made by Fantasyexpo as the company aims to differentiate itself in the highly-competitive gaming and esports space. According to Esports Insider, both Fantasyexpo and GAM3RS_X will continue operating out of Poland and the EU.
“Gaming and esports, both in the world and in Poland, has an increasingly strong position, therefore many companies see great marketing potential in this area,” said Karolina Diakowska, the Managing Director of GAM3RS_X. “Years of experience and knowledge of the industry have led us to create GAM3RS_X, thanks to which we are able to provide brands with professional and innovative solutions in the area of digital competition, crossing the real world with the virtual one. “
One of GAM3RS_X’s first projects will be the broadcast of the CS:GO tournament PGL Major Antwerp which is scheduled to take place later this year. The brand is expected to provide coverage of the tournament in eight countries: Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Estonia, Bulgaria, and Romania.
Additionally, GAM3RS_X unveiled plans for a League of Legends tournament in the near future. On top of that, GAM3RS_X hopes to host virtual cycling and virtual dancing competitions at some point. The company also announced a gaming hackathon that will be called Game Jam Booster.
