EA And LEARFIELD Bringing FIFA 22 To LevelNext College Esports League

On March 29th, the intercollegiate media company LEARFIELD announced it had agreed to a partnership with Electronic Arts that will see EA SPORTS FIFA 22 added to the portfolio of the LevelNext collegiate esports league. It all leads up to the LevelNext EA SPORTS FIFA 22 College National Championship which begins this May.

The competition, which will last five weeks, begins on April 23rd with college students around the country facing off against one another in FIFA 22. After that will be the College National Championship which will take place on May 24th. The championship will feature a $100,000 prize pool. Half of that prize money will be awarded to 20 campus esports programs through a competition held on Twitter.

“The LevelNext EA SPORTS FIFA 22 Collegiate National Championship provides an outlet for students around the United States to celebrate their shared love of esports, football, and EA SPORTS FIFA 22,” added Sam Turkbas, EA SPORTS FIFA Competitive Gaming Commissioner. “LEARFIELD’s LevelNext competition gives students the exciting opportunity to represent their university and root for their classmates in esports.”

Registration for the event is open now to any full-time students attending a four-year accredited college or university. Interested individuals have until April 19th to register for the competition.
