Supermodel Kate Moss recently entered the metaverse thanks to a partnership with the fashion styling game Drest. Through this deal, gamers will now have a chance to model and style Kate Moss avatars in the Drest metaverse from March 29th to early-mid April.
Drest players will be allowed to accessorize and dress these Moss avatars with 250+ different luxury brands. This includes Gucci, Burberry, Versace, and even fine jewelry from Messika thanks to a collaboration between the company and the fashion industry icon. On top of that, players will be allowed to give these avatars new and glamourous looks thanks to Drest’s portfolio of virtual makeup items.
“It was incredible to see the avatar DREST has made of me, and I enjoyed being involved in the creative process, just as I did when designing my high jewelry collection for Messika,” Moss said. “I’m excited to see how the players will style me over the next two weeks. My tip? You can never wear too many diamonds!”
For those that are more interested in competitions, there will also be a style challenge dedicated to these Kate Moss avatars. Moss will choose one lucky Drest stylist to win a “Baby Move” white gold pendant that is reportedly worth more than $3,400. Only gamers that are active members of the Drest metaverse will be considered for the prize.
