Esports agency AFK Pros recently appointed former CS:GO player Daniel “Frod” Montaner as its new Esports Talent Coordinator, a role which will see him use his experience and connections to help AFK Pros grow their talent roster.
Montaner, who was previously signed to the agency as a client, also competed professionally in Overwatch and VALORANT before retiring.
“Throughout my time in esports, I’ve always looked out for players and tried to best represent the interests of players, so it was extremely important to me that AFK valued this in the same way,” said Montaner. “To be able to continue to support players in this role with AFK is a blessing!”
Since retiring, Montaner held coaching and management positions with organizations like FaZe Clan, T1, Florida International University, Miami Dade College, and more.
