Doors Opened On Southeast Asia’s First Esports Hotel

Say hello to the first esports hotel in Southeast Asia. On May 30th, the doors were officially opened on the Malaysian esports hotel known as the SEM9 Senai Esports Hotel. Developed by the esports organization SEM9, and backed by SEAGM & Aiken Digital, this Senai, Johor-based luxury hospitality and gaming experience looks to introduce new concepts and ideas into the video game space while helping the continued growth of the booming Southeast Asian esports community.

The rooms in the hotel are outfitted with all the latest gear, not to mention LED lights to capture the emulation and immersive thrills that gamers seek. There are gaming chairs, gaming PCs, and high-speed internet connections. There are also amenities for non-PC gamers. In fact, the hotel has rooms specifically designed for PlayStation players as well as mobile video game fanatics.

While you’re there, you can also check out the SEM9 Senai Merchandising zone which features exclusive SEM9 apparel and collectibles.

If you want, you can book these rooms now in either half-day or full-day increments. A half day will cost you a little more than $26. But, you might as well go in for the full day for $50.24 if you do end up making the trip all the way to Malaysia.
