Next Level Racing has reached a multi-year deal with Ferrari to bring sim racing to the Gold Coast, Australia. As per the deal, Next Level Racing will supply simulators to Ferrari to help train esports racers.
“Ferrari is the most iconic company in the world in motor sports and racing and to be supplying them with our products … is absolutely fantastic,” said Hes Ghah, Founder of Next Level Racing. “Our cockpits are already in Maranello in Italy in a Ferrari facility. They’re using them for training and global esports competitions already.”
Ghah said the simulators, designed on the Gold Coast, cost less than $30,000 each and that they are “the same as a real race track.”
But Next Level Racing will also be looking to the skies this year after signing a deal with Boeing that will see them releasing two flight simulators to the world’s largest aerospace company.
Count Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate as someone who’s very excited for Next Level Racing and the future of industry in the region:
“It shows that innovation is alive and well on the Gold Coast,” he said.
