Global Esports Federation Confirms Three Partners For Commonwealth Esports Championships

The Global Esports Federation (GEF) has officially confirmed three presenting partners to join its Innovation Showcase at the Commonwealth Esports Championships in Birmingham, England. Those three partners are: Refract Technologies, Init Esports, and the World Freestyle Football Association (WFFA).

“The Innovation Showcase at the first-ever Commonwealth Esports Championships will provide a live, interactive opportunity for these leading partners to share their technology and innovations with the athletes and ticket holders,” said Paul J. Foster, Chief Executive of the GEF. “Esports and its related sectors are built around communities, and we are proud to collaborate with leading innovators like Refract, Init Esports, and the WFFA.”

Refract Technologies plans to demonstrate AXIS, a proprietary real-time, full-body, motion-tracking solution, which turns the body into a real-time game controller.

All-female led start-up, Init Esports, will demonstrate their new sim-racing experience, while the WFFA will show off in-person what is captured on prominent football/soccer titles like eFootball Series and FIFA.

The Innovation Showcase will take place from August 5th to the 7th.
